Florida requires its own certification. If you have decided to make Florida your home, don’t worry! Our process is straightforward and welcoming!
Where can I purchase medical cannabis in Florida?
You can buy medical cannabis at any licensed Medical Marijuana Treatment
Center (MMTC) in the state. Our experienced staff will assist you by showing
you how to shop at the dispensaries, how your route limits work, first time
patient discounts, and so much more! You will be able to find the products
that work best for you and work with your budget!
How much does it cost?
• Initial certification with Dr. Springs: $149
• State application fee: $77.75
• Follow-up recertifications (every 210 days): $129 (Discounts available for Veterans and Cannabis Industry employees
• Veteran and transfer discounts are available
Do I have to reapply every year?
Yes. The state card must be renewed every 12 months, and you must also recertify with your physician every 210 days (~7 months) to keep your orders active.
Can I do my follow-up appointments via telehealth?
Yes! Florida allows follow-up recertifications to be done by telehealth. Initial appointments must be in person.

Can I use my card in other states?
No. Florida’s medical marijuana card is only valid within the state. Other states have different rules, and cannabis remains illegal federally.
